Senior Pastor

A native of South Dakota, he graduated from Trinity College and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He served as an Assistant Pastor at at North Suburban Evangelical Free Church in Deerfield for five years, and as Senior Pastor of Chippewa Evangelical Free Church in Beaver Falls, PA (near Pittsburgh) for 14 years. Lee, Susan and their son, Andy, came to VCL in February, 1998. Pastor Lee is an adjunct professor at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, a consulting editor for Leadership Journal, and a columnist for PreachingToday.com, both publications of Christianity Today Int’l.

Michael Mauriello

Michael Mauriello

Associate Pastor

Michael and Londa both graduated in May of 2005 from Trinity, and ministered for five years at Geneseo Evangelical Free Church in Geneseo, IL. As the Student Ministries Pastor, Michael oversaw Jr. High, Sr. High, and College student ministries, and also led a parenting class for young families and new parents. He was ordained in the Free Church in November of 2009. While in Geneseo, Londa and Michael had two children: Lillian Taylor and Grace DeAnna. In the fall of 2010, Michael returned to Trinity to begin work on a PhD in Educational Studies. He is very excited to be ministering at Village Church with both the teenagers and adults, and looks forward to a long pastorate with Village Church.

Susan Eclov

Susan grew up in the midwest and comes from a remarkable Christian family committed to Christian service from childhood. She graduated from Trinity College with BA degrees in biblical studies and English.  Susan serves part-time at VCL focusing her administrative gifts on two particular areas: worship planning and children’s ministries. She also serves the Great Lakes District of the EFCA in the Credentialing Office.  She and Pastor Lee have one son, Andy.
