While visiting Village Church of Lincolnshire a year ago, we were immediately impressed with the friendliness of the people in this smaller church setting. We found the worship service offered great preaching as well as diverse musical styles, along with numerous opportunities for service. We were reunited with some old friends from the past and have also formed some wonderful new friendships.- Bob and Judy DeBaets
A major reason that I and my sister have decided to settle in at VCL for now is because, as a college student, I really appreciate the opportunity that VCL provides to fellowship with people from a wide range of ages and backgrounds. There are young children and a number of older and wiser adults who, along with the young adult community which I am a part of at Trinity, help provide a healthy balance and a better picture of the complete body of Christ. And the people at VCL are very friendly and welcoming, especially toward the college students who call VCL their church home during the school year!- Hannah Held
We had just started attending VCL when our adult daughter underwent life-altering surgery. We barely knew the people of the church, but they upheld us in prayer and supported us through the trial. As we deepened our involvement, VCL added great friends for our children, meaningful worship, applicable preaching, and our growth group to the package and we were hooked.- Tim and Sue Rumley
We moved to the area just under two years ago, and our search for a new church home did not take long once we found VCL. We felt warmly welcomed, and were invited to participate in activities, and joined a small group. Another benefit we experienced is the presence of many Trinity students.- David and Joanna Hoag
When we first started attending VCL, we felt so welcomed…people went out of their way to introduce themselves and to get to know us. The worship services are thoughtful and intentional and focused on quality Bible centered preaching. We are so thankful for the committed Sunday school teachers who lovingly care for and teach our children every week. VCL is truly a church family and we are blessed to be a part of it.- Kevin and Anne Tohme
As a military family we have attended many churches, but VCL is the only one to accept our family from day one with open arms and open hearts. Because the love of God just flows from every sermon, class, and ministry at VCL our family’s faith and knowledge has grown in leaps and bounds; this is why we feel blessed to call VCL our church!- John and Steph Ingersoll
