This week we're going to worship our Lord and learn from his Word concerning one of the most important human relationships - husband and wife. Come, this Mother's Day and be strengthened as we learn to live out the Gospel of Christ in our homes.

First Hour next week, May 18:  Come and pray with us! 

 First Hour starting June 1:  Discerning Spiritual Paths led by Carol Marshall and Bryan Just.  This summer in our first hour class we will be exploring different ways of connecting with God.  Are you ever jealous of someone else’s spiritual walk?  Do you ever feel that the things that seem to help other people in their spiritual life just don’t work for you?  Join us as we discuss different ways of growing close to God and discover how God has uniquely wired you to relate to him.

VCL 50th Anniversary Buffet Dinner:  Celebrate God’s goodness and faithfulness with us!  Dinner is on May 17 at 5:30 p.m. at Waybright Center Melton Hall, TIU.  RSVP by returning your RSVP with payment in an envelope to the 50th anniversary table in the foyer.  We want to hear your story of God’s faithfulness at VCL.  Fill in the back side of your RSVP card and return it to the 50th anniversary table in the foyer.  Please contact the church office or Karen Kissinger for scholarship money for the dinner.
