We lose sight of the path when we lose sight of what we have in Christ. This morning, we're going to learn from Hebrews 12:14-24. Pastor Jim Renke will encourage us to live into the blessings of Christ, by living into the way of Christ. Anything less is giving up on the good news.

First Hour - Brothers, Loved by God Brotherhood weaves through Genesis and describes the Church now. Explore what being brothers and sisters means throughout the Bible and how brotherhood impacts your connections with family, fellow Christians, and the global church.
Women’s Bible Study: All women are welcome to our weekly Bible Study on Thursdays from 9:30-11 a.m. This fall we’re studying the theme of Jesus in the Old Testament using the book The Christ Key: Unlocking the Centrality of Christ in the Old Testament by Chad Bird. VCL Trunk or Treat – Volunteers Needed!
Join us for Trunk or Treat on Saturday, Oct. 25, 1–4 PM. We need families to host trunks and volunteers to help with setup, games, crafts, refreshments and welcoming guests. As a smaller church, some couples/families may be asked to both host a trunk and volunteer, with the chance to switch off during the afternoon. Sign up in the lobby, or contact Seth at seth@evcl.org.

Care Minister: Love INC is seeking volunteer care ministers to assist our delivery teams on Saturdays. The Care Minister would be there to speak with the neighbor in need while the teams deliver and set up the furniture. Training will be available for those involved.
