We find a greater righteousness at work in us when we devote ourselves to see each other as God sees us and value each other as bearers of the imago Dei. It’s not enough not to cheat. We must let the Spirit of God transform our desires and our intentions.

Mother’s Day at VCL. Join us as we celebrate the women who have loved us.
Photo booth: Capture a special moment with family or someone who’s been like a mom to you.
Write a Card to Mom: Write a letter to your mom or a woman who has filled that role in your life. We’ll provide supplies and mail it for you-just bring the address! We’ll also have an option to write a card in memory of a mom who is now with the Lord, entrusting those words as prayers to him. Come celebrate & honor together.
Ladies! Summer is coming and that means Nights of Encouragement will soon be starting. Please mark your calendars for June 4 at Karen Flatebo‘s home, 7-8 PM. More info as well as July and August dates to follow. This is a great opportunity to invite a friend or neighbor.
Ladies, you are cordially invited to a special Saturday Gathering, May 9th. We will gather around the table to encourage each other as the Men’s Fellowship Group will be serving breakfast to us. Completing the Call update:

· If you are looking to complete your pledge, please try to do so by the end of June.
· For those of you who are newer to VCL, “Completing the Call” was a fund raising campaign announced at our 50th anniversary celebration last May to pay off our mortgage (completed in September) and to refresh several areas of our facility.
