This morning, Pastor Jim Renke will be leading us through Hebrews 11:23-29.  He will highlight 5 diagnostic questions for our faith. Do we share the faith of Moses?  What are we not trusting God for? Let’s take a look.

Feed My Starving Children Packing Event. Join us on Saturday, September 27 from 9:00-10:45 am as we serve together at Feed My Starving Children.  This is a wonderful opportunity for our church family to come alongside an organization working hard to wipe out hunger across the globe.  Let’s get our whole church involved and be a blessing to those in need!  To sign up, email Seth at seth@evcl.org to get registered.

We are making plans for baptisms on September 28 in our morning service.  If you are a believer in Jesus Christ and you have not been baptized, this is your opportunity to obey the Lord in this key ordinance. Fall Ministries

Thursday Women’s Bible Study:  All women are welcome to our weekly Bible Study.  This fall we’ll be studying the theme of Jesus in the Old Testament using the book The Christ Key: Unlocking the Centrality of Christ in the Old Testament by Chad Bird.  We’ll learn how consistent Scripture is in its revelation of Jesus as Messiah.  Books are  available for $20.  We begin Thursday, 9/18, 930—11 am.   Babysitting is provided.  Questions: Carol Marshall carolsings3@comcast.net

 And Growth Group kickoff!  We’re inviting all growth group leaders, growth group members and anyone else interested in growth groups to a meeting with dessert(!) on Sunday evening, September 21st at 6 p.m. here at church in the Great Room.
