What About My Past?
This Sunday, Pastor Jim Renke will be guiding us through the Word to see that our pasts and the memories of past sin don’t have to keep us from moving forward. We can be freed from what we’ve done and we can find the joy of knowing the Lord has redeemed us! Come for a time to be renewed in the grace and mercy of Jesus and set on a path of freedom from the past that may haunt us from time to time.

First Hour: the adults’ & kids’ classes will coordinate in Psalm 23. This summer Kids Ministry is taking a journey across Ireland through Psalm 23 with our Emerald Crossing curriculum during the 9 am and 10:30 am hours. Join us as kids discover God’s peace & guidance, journeying from lost to found, fearful to peaceful.
Virtual Prayer Gathering: This Tuesday night, 7/21, 7 pm, we’ll be gathering on Zoom for our prayer meeting. Come join us for a meaningful time of prayer-all from the comfort of your own living room. Zoom details to follow via email. If you have a prayer request or an update, please sent it to office@evcl.org.
Summer talks: Pastor Jim will be hosting, Bible, Sermon, or Spiritual Conversations, on Wednesdays from 6:30 pm to 8 pm. Feel free to bring your questions! Let’s take this time to open up conversations on what God is doing in our lives, or in our understanding of Him and His Word.

We will be sending hand-delivered cards to Sarah Thuillier (nee Esau) and Ian & Teri Rutter, our missionaries in France, after Sunday, July 19. The Rutters are retiring this summer. We will have cards in the foyer for anyone who would like to sign. Thank you.
On August 30, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our Sticking Points series. Please communicate a topic or a question that you would like to learn more about on our green Welcome Card and give it to Pastor Jim.
